Our first Philmont ShakeDown Hike will take place November 23-24 in the Shenandoah National Park. This is a MANDATORY training event for all scouts and adults attending Philmont next summer.

 

Pack for Philmont.  Bring the complete Philmont packing list and leave enough room in your pack for your share of crew gear and crew food.  Ensure you have the capacity to carry at least four liters of water.  

 

Please bring your packed rucksacks for inspection to the crew meeting at 6:30 PM on Monday, November 18th.

Meet: Scouts will meet at St. George’s Church at 6 AM on Sunday. Eat breakfast before you come. Pick up at the University Mall Giant Parking Lot approximately 3pm on Sunday.
