Details:

For Summer 2025, the PLC has selected to attend T Brady Saunders for our annual summer camp. TBS is the council camp for the Heart of Virginia Council, located just west of Richmond. Saunders is a beautiful and traditional council summer camp offering a wide range of program activities in a familiar camp format and structure.

• Aquatics on Lake Dillon, including canoe, kayak, paddleboard, sailing, log roll, Iceberg, and the Wet Willy big slide

• Fishing

• Climbing Tower

• Shooting Sports

• C.O.P.E.

• STEM, metalworking, blacksmithing, 

• Orienteering, geocaching

• And much more!

• Age specific programs

  • Trailblazers - New Scout program​

Sunday, July 13 - Saturday, July 19

Fees: $485 (after March 15 pricing). Includes:

• summer camp registration

  • programming, all meals, cot​, tent

• transportation to camp (bus supplemental funded by the troop)

• Adult leaders are free or covered by the troop

​

Adults:

A troop of our size needs about 7-8 adults to be able to efficiently manage summer camp. So we need you! In exchange for contributing your time to support our kids for the week, the troop will cover the adult costs for summer camp. Part week is ok, but we will need to coordinate coverage.

​Registration Process:

1. Complete Sign Up form here (or form below)

2. Payment in 2 installments

   1. After March 15 - $260

   2. By May 1 - $225

3. Turn in completed BSA Medical Form part A/B/C by July 1

   1. Note this is the same form many will need for Philmont this year. Make 2 copies, we will need one for each camp.

   2. Part C is a doctor's physical. Don't wait until last minute! If you do wait for last minute, CVS is a good option.

   3. Medical forms are good for 1 year from the Part C appointment.​​

4. Merit badge registration opens March 17! Standby for additional information.​
