Our next Philmont ShakeDown Hike will take place May 2-4 in the Blue Rridge Mountains. This is a MANDATORY training event for all scouts and adults attending Philmont next summer. Exact locations and routes will be decided as individual crews.

 

Pack for Philmont.  Bring the complete Philmont packing list and leave enough room in your pack for your share of crew gear and crew food.  Ensure you have the capacity to carry at least four liters of water.

Meet: Scouts will meet at St. George’s Church at 6 PM on Friday. Eat dinner before you come. Pick up at the University Mall Giant Parking Lot approximately noon on Sunday.
