Details:

Do you have the right stuff to survive the wilderness? Test your meddle and earn the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge! We will be camping on remote backcountry private property. The focus of activities will be on wilderness survival skills including:

- fire building

- building a natural shelter (and sleeping in it Saturday night!)

- water treatment

- and more

Attending this campout will get you a good ways towards the Wilderness Survival merit badge. However completion will require some pre and post work in meetings and at home. Taking the merit badge is not a requirement for this campout, but attending the campout is a requirement of taking the merit badge. Meet: Scouts will meet at St. George’s Church at 5:30 PM on Friday. Eat dinner before you come or bring with you. Pick up at the University Mall Giant Parking Lot at noon on Sunday.
